Valerie has also joined forces with a bunch of Brasilian music lovers
and is part of a new band called SAMBAGODE!
Kind of street fun sambas & choros...played with vocals, cavacos,
hand percussion, 7 string guitar. Recently Girltalkband joined
forces with Sambagode for a few gigs. It's one big grin
stretching all the way down to Brasil!!!!

QUOTES:
"Girl Talk took
our audience on a first-class musical journey."
The audience
came away with a wonderful evening of entertainment
and knowledge
about the stops in the journey"
-Michael Wolf, Cerritos Center For
the Performing Arts
"Your music is
like sweet molasses running over a rocky countryside!" -Behzad
Mohit
"Valerie Bach doesn't just play guitar, she plays MUSIC. Where
some guitarists are trying so hard to show off their chops, Valerie
plays with thought, wit, and a sense of purpose. She feels her
music in her soul, and while she may come from Great Neck, New York,
her heart lies in Brazil. Valerie's mind and soul set her apart;
she chooses tunes that most musicians barely know and she plays them is
ways most musicians would hardly think of. Valerie is an
original, with a story to tell." - Rich Sigberman
"I forgot to mention: Val moves
gracefully, often dancing while she plays. Sometimes one foot
goes up...sometimes both. She is as much fun to watch as to
listen to. She is also intentionally funny when introducing songs
between numbers, taking infectious joy in her music, that the audience
share." - Rich Sigberman
"This
band plays beautiful music!"
- Danny Caron
"A fine blend of
californian and brazilian textured music.
They definitely
can talk (musically speaking!)
-Carlos Oliveira
